I'm not sure why you don't want to dual boot, but it's what I chose to do and at that point you're literally running as a Windows machine so all applications work great (assuming you have the hardware to run it). That being said, your main issue could be that things don't run perfectly when ported. If you bought it, it's as legal on OSX as on Windows. If you pirated it, it's as illegal on OSX as on Windows.
